Due to a number of factors, our backlog situation has grown to unmanageable levels. So, it is time to take some drastic measures.
We have decided to temporarily suspend accepting new repairs. Yes, we are currently NOT accepting units for repair until we can get things under control. We just haven't been able to control the estimated times to repair and as a result, we have a number of disappointed customers, something we don't like to do. The reasons are many, some heath issues among them and since we are a one man operation... the impact on repair times is quite significant.
If you have sent a unit in, we will complete it! But, we ask that you do not send any units for repair after January 10th, 2012. Once we can get the backlog cleaned up, we will remove this message and things can get back to normal!
We anticipate being back online with 10 to 14 day turn- around on repairs by March 1, 2012. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to being able to provide excellent service and speed in the new year.
We have not been able to make a significant change in the backlog of units here for repair. Due to some on-going issues and time constraints, I do not want to open up for new repairs until I feel things are under control and I can provide a fairly accurate delivery date for new repairs. So, I am pushing off any formal announcements until May 1st. I do apologize for the delay once again.
